Private tutor in Meridian, ID

Education

Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Department at Brigham Young University. Four year academic scholarship recipient. Employed as an engineering consultant since 2010.

Experience

I have several years of tutoring experience, going back to high school. I enjoy helping people understand difficult concepts to help them have the "Aha!" moment. I excel in math and physics classes, from basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry up through more advanced topics such as calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. In high school, I received an "Advanced Placement National Scholar" award, requiring a score of 4 or higher on at least 8 exams. I use the math I learned back in high school every day, so it's still fresh. I enjoy working with and meeting new people, and think that learning doesn't have to be a painful process. My hourly rate is $30/hour. I offer a money-back guarantee on the first hour of tutoring. If you don't think it is a good fit, don't pay me! I don't think that will be the case, though.
